Grow Your Exposure With Instagram Story

Grow Your Exposure With Instagram Story

Instagram keeps changing as we speak. New features, new ways to communicate with your friends and clients. Since Instagram Stories came out they have changed the game on instagram particularly, and on the social media in general. The stories brought something new to the field, something fresh, in the moment experience. There are some great easy features you can use in the stories to create more engagement in your account.

Add Location

You can add location to your stories in a few different ways. First of course, tag where you at. That way all the users in the area can get to you if they are interested in lifestyle and business in your location. Another way is to tag a location specific to a potential targeted audience that you are interested in. The point is, you don’t have to be present in the place to tag it and be expose to those users.

For instance, let’s say that you have a business in Los Angeles and I’m visiting in Los Angeles. When I will look on the explorer “Los Angeles” I might run into your story and would like to pay a visit at your store.

Add @ Mention

If you’re not using this one, you’re missing a lot. First of all, tagging your friends. When you do so they can share your story on their account which get you to be exposed to all of their followers.

Second way is tagging business. If you visited a store that you like, a restaurant you enjoyed, tag their account on IG. Some places may repost your story on their account, which will expose you to a major amount of users, potential audience.

Swipe Up / Link in Bio

Even though not every business has reached the 10k to be able to do the “swipe up” feature, there are other ways to reach the some goal.

First everyone who has that feature of swipe up, please don’t forget to use it! Its an easy way to simply ask your audience to go check your new post on your blog or your new arrivals.

The one who hasn’t reached that feature yet, here is what you can do. Post a story with a direct Call To Action to go your bio and check that new thing you’ve just launch. Before that put the right URL at your bio, and you got it.

Either way, don’t hesitate to ask your followers directly what you want them to do.

Conclusions

As you see you have multiple ways to attract new audience to your page. If you have a personal account and you just want more followers, or if you own a business page you what to grow to level up your business. Either way, by tagging the right locations, tagging the right people or business, not to mention you can attach links to your new creations. By all that, and much more you can expose yourself to a verity of new potential followers and engage with the once you already have.
