Unlike regular stories that stay in the air for only 24 hours, Highlights stay as long as we want, and we can determine when to put them up or take them down. Essentially, they are saved stories meaning we must first make a story to save it to highlights.

Instagram Highlights allows us to group and store important, educational, or entertaining content from our stories. They can be likened to a kind of “folder” of content, with each folder containing videos on a particular topic. After sharing our initial story, we can associate the same story with the selected folder under the appropriate theme.

Branding the high-caliber content in our account will give the account a professional, inviting, and professional look. As a brand owner who wants to promote sales through the internet account, it is also advisable to emphasize the branding of products through Highlights.

After creating Highlights, we can use up to 15 characters for a category’s name. It’s recommended that you use a short, catchy name so that other users can see the full folder name as they enter the profile. Additionally, by default, Instagram uses the first image added to Highlights as the cover image. However, we have the option to replace the cover for a more professional and attractive appearance.

Highlight covers should look clean and consistent in all “folders” so the profile maintains an organized, aesthetically-pleasing look.

Another option is simply to design the cover inside of the initial story. Also you can create a cover without a picture and simply register the folder theme. When creating a cover, it is important to center all text, logos, and symbols on the cover and maintain a simple design that can be expanded upon later.

Before we can use the new designs of the covers, we will first have to upload them to our stories, and then we can associate them with the appropriate Highlights sections.

To do this, go back to your profile, and tap on the profile picture to view your story, when the cover image opens, click on the heart icon – ‘Highlights’.

3) Update covers with new branding

The next step is to update the covers with new branding. Click on the Highlights folder, and click the three-point icon in the lower right corner. Click edit Highlights, and you will see editing options for the cover. You can change the name or even delete Highlights that are no longer relevant. To change the cover, click on “Cover Editing” and select the newly branded label. You can drag the image on the screen to reposition it. Then click Done to save your changes.
